Having fought in the past, both are somewhat rivals. Sabato fears her and hates her, and when he was still a part of Nomad tried to escape her grasp. Ingrid doesn't trust Sabato and assumes he had been working against Nomad. Oboro wishes to take Ingrid down but knows she can't go against her directly. Ingrid dislikes Oboro and wastes no time to display her disgusts with her underhanded tactics. Ingrid dislikes Fulst methods highly and dislikes the man highly, not shy to voice this. Lina views Ingrid as her teacher and idol, she tries to be.įulst is jealous of Ingrid's influence with Black and wishes to take her down, one day. Ingrid views her in some scenarios as a Hell Knight worthy of that title. Lina as one of Ingrid's apprentices is valued highly for her motivation, drive and honesty. Ingrid is concerned for her isolationist lifestyle, Dolores views her as family. She takes care of her smaller and distant cousin Dolores, letting her live in her mention in Yomihara. Knowing about Black's interest in Asagi she does not fight her and does not ask Black about any details as this would be out of line. They seem to share a bond, which does not require many words. However, it is unclear if Black is aware of Ingrid feelings and if Ingrid herself would ever try to push for things to go further. Black views her as one of the must trustful subjects and loyal allies and friends, going out of his way to even personally save her at times. She does not reveal her love for Black, but has on occasion ranted about unrequited love to fortune-tellers. Ingrid views herself as Black's knight and sword, and puts her own desires and her life last. Knowing of Black's affection to Asagi, unlike Oboro, she accepts and will correct herself before speaking out of jealousy. When fantasizing about Black, often views herself as swooped away by his charm, in his arms but snaps back to reality often quickly just to sigh "never going to happen". Might even be a bit superstitious, as she vents to fortune tellers. Infact, seems to be under a lot of stress and if given an outlet to to vent will do so for many minutes. However, Ingrid never does so with sadism or joy on her mind, thinking about it as necessity for Nomad’s sake and stability. Regardless, she has also demonstrated to be relentless in her pursued if she is suspicious of foul play or betrayal, she had been willing to torture in such cases or extract memories by extreme means. Furthermore, she is against the rape and torture that Nomad is known for, even when it is against Taimanin that are her enemies. Her moral standards are overall rather high, but she will put those feelings aside to do her duty without hesitation. Though intimidating, she is reasonable and intelligent but remains loyal to Black's direct orders, despite her own views. Ingrid is stern, strict and chivalrous, acts professional most of the time, but will let the mask slip when thinking about Edwin Black.
